This time when I use the word friends, Jamie really does know who I am. We met just about a year ago as he toured the NYC/Philly/DC area as one of the Invisible Children East Coast Roadies. Just before meeting him, I found out that I would be traveling to Gulu and teaching at an Invisible Children partnered school. While Jamie wasin the Philly area for about a weekhe found out that he too would be traveling to Gulu, and he would
spend the whole summer there.
These are pictures of Jamie and I in Gulu, and then also @ Displace Me in DC a few months before going to Gulu.
Well, summer has turned to fall and now to winter and Jamie is still in Gulu doing great things. Really though, Jamie has only lived through the wet season and now the dry season, as Uganda doesn't have 4 seasons like the US.
